We are a group of friends with the goal of restoring the GEM Theatre in Calhoun, Georgia. The GEM is one of the oldest landmarks in downtown Calhoun. The Friends of the Gem Mission is:

• Enlist community support to restore Calhoun's landmark theatre building
• Enrich the community by providing a premier facility to be used for viewing,learning and participating in the performaing and visual arts
• Ensure preservation of the theatre for future generations
